The emotion that "I am Offering This Poem" by Jimmy Santiago Baca expresses is sincerity. For exmample, this shows that the author of the poem cares alot about things in his life. Also that the auhtor has related to this poem obviously and he knows what the definition of sincerity is. In addition, this shows that people dont have to care for a person or show that they care just because they write it in words thay can express it in many different ways. Thats why the emotion of this poem was sincerity because it does not take one thing to show somebody you care for them there can be many different ways expressing the way you feel.
