Welcome students! Today, I am going to teach you about what evidence is. Evidence is where you prove that you got information right about their information or about their research paper. You summarize evidence when your doing a really important project or a paper. To summarize your imformation has to be correct and reliable. To use a quote you can either have it as a source or just a saying that means something to you. You pharaphase evidence when the information that you find on the internet is not quite reliable or correct. To pharaphase is to put something in your own words instead of copying from the internet or reliable source. To help you remember this, you should study the definitions and use a lot of examples for the words so you can know what the definitions are.

UnGoogleable Research Paper Website Selection Reflection

Today in class, I searched for websites for my research paper and information about my assignment. To search for websites, I had Ms. Cindy and Ms Priester help me on finding ideas and articles about my topic. When I found a website related to my focus question, I started reading the article about my focus question and looking over the article to make sure that the website was the right one that I picked up. I knew some of the websites I found were unacceptable because they had no titoles and they also had advertisments. I know the websites that I selected are good because they had a good subtitle, regular title, date of publication. Tommorow, I expect that Ms. Priester will tell me to look over a couple of websites that I serched and find some more websites.

Unggogable Research- What I already know

“My focus question is what motivates people to abuse children”? I already know people get a kick out of abusing children. I also know that when children get abused they don’t want to tell any authorities because there scared if they tell anybody, then the abuser will hurt them more. Additionally abuse is not okay in any way or circumstance because you’re taking a child from his or her childhood and leaving bruises in and outside. By doing research, I hope to learn about the symptoms of abuse and a lot of information on abuse and how it affects children.

I chose to write about child abuse. I interviewed Derick and his response was if it was a website from either doctors and universities then he would go on to the website. But if it were a student from campus then he wouldn't rely on the website that much. I also interviewed Kristan and she had said if the website was from . org, . gov and . edu then she would go on the website. I asked Jabreil and he had said he would use the same sources as Kristana used. The advice that the people gave me will help me because I feel it would give me a good benefit for My research paper.
